For centuries, healers have intuitively used the therapeutic powers of sound. In the native traditions of ancient cultures, examples of sound and vibration abound. Many tools have been used since the beginning of time to initiate sound healing including gongs, Tibetan bowls, didgeridoos, rattles and drums. Today, a growing number of modern practitioners (including Dr. Oz!) are rediscovering sound as a tool for healing and realignment. More modern sound therapy tools are tuning forks, chimes, and vocal toning. All play an important role in healing. It is a regenerative process married to a spiritual awakening that can have a profound consequence on illness, disease and all aspects of our lives.
Whether it's a personal sound session or recording a meditative video for download, I incorporate over 40 different sacred sound instruments that are perfectly tuned and played in a melodic, tuneful way. My family of instruments create "musical medicine" to calm the mind-chatter and relax tight muscles. Bowl and gong vibrations help you enter into a sense of timelessness; a floating, sense of release from your physical body. As the brain waves synchronize with the vibe and harmonic patterns of the bowls, you are brought into a deep relaxation and centeredness with your true nature. The instruments touch that which is true within you.
